Legs legs legs. I did legs yesterday and it wasn't too bad. I did get over there at around 7:45am. I got back home right after 9am. My arms and legs are doing good. I wish I could get my belly going down some more. Maybe I can soon. I need to start on my core I guess.

Well Well. I had really forgotten about this blog. I guess to catch you up to date, the bottom line is that I failed at weight watchers. I managed to continue to walk every day since I first started in 2010. My dog and I have burned up the road a lot.

Now, I have been going to the gym for almost a month now. I started with meeting one of the trainers once a week. I have not really lost a lot of weight but I have lost some inches already. My arms and legs are doing really great. I actually have muscles for once instead of everything giggling around.

My core is not doing as well. We have to work on that some more. Yesterday we did chest and back. So some of the arms are still hurting a bit. So far I have been happy with trying to do better.

The whole thing is that I don't want to get diabetes. Wendy is already on some medicine for that and I am very afraid of that I will end up that way. All in all, I think this is the best way I can get in better shape and do well.

Better than I thought

Well this week has been hard. We closed the other building at work and I had to work my tail off all week moving the network and phone systems as well as all the wiring and such. SO naturally, I have not been on the Weight Watchers plan much. I cheated at breakfast and even at lunch some times. I had pasta allot this week. In addition to that, we had a family emergency that made it a more stressful week.

I guess with all of this moving I lost 3 pounds. It could have been my shoes. I have no idea what it is was  that allowed me to loose so much this week. Anyways. thats the update on the blog. I have allot of things going on that I should not put in here. Just know that it was a stressful week.

A little discouraged

When I weighed in on Saturday, I had not lost nearly enough weight for the week. I wonder if just tracking things is enough. I don't think  that I am doing enough. Hopefully this week will be better and that I can start counting down the pounds.

Down 1.4 lbs Got to do more

Well this Saturday when I went to weigh in, I'd had only lost 1.4 pounds. They said that it was about average so I am OK with that. Wendy and I had a date Friday night so the points really weren't counted for much of the evening. Then Saturday and Sunday I sort of blew it as well. I did go for walks this weekend and that was good but I need to do more. I have been doing well with the snacking though. I eat fruit and such instead of candy. After church on Sunday we went to Sonny's BBQ. I actually did very well there. I had smoked turkey and a sweet potato. So instead of getting the ribs and chicken, I did much better.

Changing my Focus

Ok it's been almost a year since I started being interested in Flying again. Over the last 6months, my doctor told me that I was flirting with diabetes. So as of last week, I decided that I needed to change my focus. My goal is to loose 100 pounds by the time I am 40 years old. Oct 17th, 2014.

So my blog changed from a flying life to saving my life. I will use this as a place to blog about my journey. I hope that it will be a good reflection on what is going on.
